Provincially regulated carriers are not legally allowed to leave the province of Alberta.  Even under a permit you would still be in violation of your Safety Fitness Certificate (SFC).  It is very simple, you are either a Provincial or Federal carrier.

This online Alberta Common Ground Alliance (ABCGA) endorsed course is designed for planners, managers, supervisors, and employees who are required to develop, plan, or undertake any kind of ground disturbance.

Confined Space Entry

This online course provides important information to individuals required to work within a confined space.

Defensive Driving: 3 Demerit Reduction Program (Alberta)

This 6 hour online Defensive Driving program is approved by the Alberta Government for removal of 3 demerits points from an Alberta operator’s licence. A minimum mark of 80% must be obtained on the final exam to qualify for the demerit point reduction.

Fall Protection Awareness

Alberta legislation was used extensively in the development of this course as Alberta has some of the most rigorous legislative standards in Canada. CSA, ANSI, CEN, and industry standards were also used. This course focuses on building awareness for workers in the field.

This online course is designed to give Health and Safety Committee (HSC) co-chairs and Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) an understanding of their legislated duties and responsibilities under Alberta's OHS legislation. 

Joint Health and Safety Committees Awareness

This online Joint Health and Safety Committees course is designed to teach workers, supervisors, and management about the benefits, authority, responsibilities, members, and functions of Joint Health and Safety Committees. This course covers legislation specific to Alberta.

Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Training

The course helps participants recognize and define workplace harassment and violence as it relates to the 2018 Alberta OH&S Act. The program identifies system and personal security measures for preventing workplace violence and describes strategies for dealing with “different,” “difficult,” and “dangerous” people. The program also discusses how to recover from workplace harassment and violence.
